Until the Iris Bloom is a novel about love, loss, and the pitfalls of aging. The 92-year-old protagonist, Tidy Bourbon, hopes to live out her remaining days as the independent woman she has always been, despite facing cognitive challenges. Forced to rely on others, she unexpectedly influences those who come to her aid. Tina will discuss why she wrote the book and explore its aging-related themes. Tina is on the board of Cambridge Neighbors, our sister village, and volunteers as an elder advocate. Meet at Beacon House, 19 Myrtle Street, Community Room. BHV members only. Free.
